T-10 Days

Well it's a little over a week till I leave for Bangladesh! The whole base is buzzing with excitement as we prepare to leave. The lectures lately have been focusing more on practical tools we can use on outreach and the why's to our faith. It is incredible to learn from such wise minds in the Christian community. Right now we are experiencing a lot of lasts, such as last night was my last outreach prep, today was my last community outreach, etc. Yet we aren't sad because all that we've learnt over the last couple months we now get to put into practice.

My team for outreach is all that I could have asked for, we fit together perfectly! As majority of my team is Canadian we all come from quite different backgrounds. Our team is very much a team where unity has come easy. I don't feel like we have ever struggled with getting to know one another or wanting to get to know one another. This has truly been a blessing!

The Christian culture here is definitely something I have gotten used to and often wonder how I will adjust coming home. People I have talked to both here and at home have already noticed a change in me, and trust me seeing the change in myself is sometimes scary.  Who knew getting out of little Moosomin for 6 months would have such a big impact on one's life.

While in B-desh I will only have Internet once a week, so emailing and blogging is my best for of communication. If you would like to receive email updates please make sure I have your email address by Wednesday December 10th.
